Abstract

1,049,440. Seats. B. L. DALL. Sept. 13, 1965 [Sept. 11, 1964], No. 38956/65. Heading A4J. A seat track comprises a tubular carriage 13 fixed to the underside of a seat 10 Fig. 1 (not shown) and slidably mounted on a tubular support 16. A plurality of longitudinally spaced bearing assemblies 17 are provided between the surfaces of carriage 13 and support 16. An axially extending rod 20 is journalled in a closure member 21 of carriage 13. Spaced notches 22 on rod 20 are adapted to selectively engage the sides of a slot 24 in a lock plate 23 on support 16.
