Abstract
1,047,260. Television. MARCONI CO. Ltd. March 23, 1964 [April 17, 1963], No. 15210/63. Heading H4F. In a television equipment for a mobile craft the internal image scanned by the camera is maintained in a fixed position by a deflecting coil system which operates on an electron beam and which is energized from an attitude responsive inertia control system mounted in the craft. An optical system focuses an image of a target on to a photo-cathode the emission from which falls on a fluorescent screen which produces a charge image on an adjacent photoconductive layer which is scanned to develop video signals. The electron emission from the photo-cathode is positioned automatically by signals from an initial system so that the beam falls on the fluorescent screen irrespective of craft attitude changes.
