A linkage for preventing movement of a resiliently mounted engine relative to a vehicle chassis from affecting the control of a clutchdisengaging lever 3 (Fig. 1, not shown), pivoted at 4 on the engine, by a clutch pedal 1 (Fig. 1, not shown), pivoted at 2 on the chassis, comprises a pair of scissors levers 10, 14, pivoted together at their mid-points, the lever 10 being pivoted at one end 11 to the chassis and at the other end 13 to an adjustable link 8 pivoted to the clutch lever 3, and the lever 14 being pivoted at one end 19 to a rod 20 pivoted at 21 to the engine, and at the other end 18 to a linkage from the clutch pedal 1.
