Abstract

1,045,250. Devices for drawing curtains. M. H. J. OVEE. Sept. 20, 1965 [Sept. 28, 1964], No. 39347/64. Heading A4B. A curtain drawing arrangement comprises an endless cord 15 passing around pulleys 14, 16 of which pulley 16 is driven in either direction by an electric motor 27, a member 17 connecting each curtain with cord 15, limit switches 23 and stops 20 on the cord to operate the limit switches each switch having a toggle with a rocker 24 with spaced apart operating ends 25, 26 slotted to receive the cord but barring passage of the stop so that the switch is not operated in unwanted manner by recoil of the curtain. Operation of the curtains may be by a light sensitive unit.
