1,044,886. Road signs. W. A. JAMES AND D. K. CADWALLADER. July 2, 1965 [April 4, 1964], No. 13983/64. Heading E1G. In a road sign of the bollard type, the upper half 2 is retained to the base portion 1 by springs 3 which restore the upper part to a vertical condition after displacement. Four springs 3 in conjunction with a lipped plate 6 prevent rotation of the upper half. The sign may be internally illuminated.
