Abstract

Articles are made by coating a former with one or more layers of a polymer or copolymer dispersed in a plasticizer, one of the layers containing a blowing agent, each coating being cured by being immersed in a liquid maintained at the temperature required to effect the curing. Articles made are gloves, sheets, mats and fingerstalls. Polyurethane, rubber and vinyl polymers such as p.v.c. can be used as the polymer and tritolylphosphate, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol and glycerol, anilene, resorcinole triethanolamine and oleic acid can be used as the curing liquids.
