[Also in Division A1] A releasable fastening device for fastening flexible sheet material 3, 4 comprises a slotted external tubular member 1 and a core member 12 of resilient material, e.g.: closed cell sponge rubber having a diameter substantially equal to the inside diameter of the tubular member the flexible sheet material being adapted to be held between the core member and the tubular member. The device is applicable to a vacuum silage assembly [see Division A1.).
