Abstract

104,334. Arnold, C. F. Feb. 7, 1916, [Convention date.]. Sparking - plugs. - An attachment for providing a plug with additional spark-gaps consists of an insulating-ring 8 secured within the inner end of the casing 1, or in a sleeve screwed on the end as shown, a metallic ring 12 being carried by the ring 8 and having fingers 14 depending therefrom. By rotating the ring, the size of the spark-gaps 14, 7 may be altered. The earthed electrode 7 may be continuous or broken.
