Abstract

1,037,726. Laminates. O. E. LARSSON. Jan. 25, 1965 [Jan. 30, 1964], No. 3168/65. Heading B5N. A method of making corrugated cardboard, paper, plastics material or metal foil, wherein a substantially smooth, continuous web of the material is corrugated between rotary rollers and an upper and a lower external layer are attached to the tops and bottoms respectively of the waves, comprises guiding and advancing the corrugated web by separate movable members which are provided in immediate succession of the rollers and engaging the tops and bottoms of the waves so as to provide space for a newlyformed wave without said wave or said rollers being able to exert a substantial displacing action on the previously corrugated web, and controlling the distance between adjacent tops and between adjacent bottoms of the waves prior to attaching the upper and lower external layers to said tops and bottoms respectively.
