Abstract

A rodenticide sachet comprises a hermetically sealed sachet made of a thermoplastic film selected so as to be capable of being ruptured under attack by the rodent, containing a filling including a bait attractive to the rodent and a poison, the size and weight of the sachet being selected such that it can be carried or dragged by the rodent and contains sufficient bait and poison to kill the rodent. Warfarin (Registered Trade Mark) is specified as the poison used. The sachet is preferably formed from a portion of "lay-flat" tubing of thermoplastic film, e.g. polyethylene, by heat-sealing at its ends.
