An hydraulic accumulator, Fig. 1 Provisional Specification (not shown) comprises a housing A divided by a partition B into an air-filled chamber H and a liquid-filled chamber G connected through a port C to an hydraulic circuit, the chambers each having therein a variable volume collapsible metal bellows E, D communicating with each other through an aperture F in the partition B and containing a liquid having a volume not more than half the combined maximum volume of the bellows. The bellows E, D are provided with closure members J, K adapted to close the aperture F when the bellows E or the bellows D, respectively, are completely collapsed.
