Abstract

Natural and synthetic diene rubbers are preserved from oxidative degradation by the incorporation therein of an N-alkyl-N1-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine, wherein the alkyl group is a secondary alkyl group containing 6 or 7 carbon atoms.
