Abstract
In the method of forming a glass ceramic article as in Claim 1 of the parent Specification, the heat treatment comprises heating to a final crystallization temperature in the range 500 DEG to 849 DEG C., and not higher than that at which the lowest-melting-point phase begins to melt, for a period of at least one minute to form an article at least partially, but not predominantly, crystalline. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 943,599 and 924,996.
