Abstract

1,033,590. Bed-settees. M. HELLER. May 10, 1965, No. 19666/65. Heading A4J. A convertible couch-bed comprises an outer frame a having ledges b constituting supports for a separate interior frame c. This frame c is capable of being turned through 180 degrees so that it becomes inverted relative to its original position. Rollers, studs or wheels h, Figs 2 and 3 (not shown) may be provided on frame c to enable it to slide or roll on ledges b. Frame c is upholstered, one side being covered with furnishing material to form a couch and the other side covered with ticking to form a mattress.
