A pair of skis comprise recessed undersurfaces whose profiles are lateral inversions of each other. The lower, inner edges G, G 1 of the skis are sharp throughout their lengths, and the lower outer edges are preferably rounded in the forward regions of the skis and sharpen gradually towards the rear regions, but may remain rounded throughout the lengths of the skis.
