Abstract

1,032,765. Cushion pads. DUNLOP RUBBER CO. Ltd. Sept. 4, 1962 [Sept.12, 1961], No. 32605/61. Addition to 776,012. Heading A4M. [Also in Division B5] A method of making back-squabs and head-rests wherein the base-plate of the parent Specification is replaced by a hollow baseboard 13 in the form of an envelope which may be located over the frame of a chair. The baseboard 13 may be of synthetic resin moulded or extruded, but butuminized fibre-board is the preferred material. The cellular material 12 may be a polyurethane foam. Baseboard 13 is mounted on a frame 14 pivoted at 15 and is accurately placed over the charged mould 11, which is of a synthetic resin described in Specification 1,003,034.
