1,031,670. Extrusion nozzles. DYNAMIT NOBEL A.G. March 28. 1963 [March 28, 1962], No. 12411/63. Heading B5B. In an extrusion apparatus for tubular films, the end portion of the mandrel 5 is provided with a flange 6 which co-operates with a flange 8 formed at the end of the extrusion nozzle 1, so that the direction of flow of the film 7 at the point of extrusion 10 is substantially at right angles to the direction of flow of the material prior to extrusion. The thickness of the film can be regulated by adjustment of the gap between the flanges by means of the screws 9 and 12.
