[Also in Division E2] A wall or ceiling fitting comprises a housing 1 having a peripheral flange to receive the inturned edge of a covering glass and a mounting plate 3 enclosed by the housing and secured to the wall or ceiling by legs 5 passing through slots 6 in the housing which permit relative sliding movement between the housing 1 and plate 3. Pins 7 are hingedly connected to the plate 3 and pass through lugs 9 on the housing so that in one position they engage over the inturned edge of the glass to retain this in place.
