Abstract

1,029,626. Stands. C. H. WILLIAMS. Feb. 19, 1964 [Feb. 27, 1963], No. 7874/63. Headings A4A and A4H. In a reversible support ring for roundbottomed vessels, e.g. laboratory flasks, the aperture through the ring has side walls which taper inwardly from each side 1, 2 of the ring to a common circular orifice. The orifice is preferably central and the aperture has openings of different dimensions in the two sides. The sides are connected by fins 6. The ring is of rubber or pliable plastic, the side resting on a supporting surface having a suction effect. A set of three rings to support a range of flask sizes is referred to.
