Abstract
1,028,999. Concrete floors, walls, &c. BAUSTAHLGEWEBE G.m.b.H. April 22, 1963 [April 21, 1962], No. 15741/63. Addition to 875,279. Heading E1V. A cast concrete structure has filling bodies embedded therein, each comprising a tube 2 of foamed synthetic plastic material, and connected parallel to each other at constant spaced intervals by means of wire mesh channels. Each tube 2 may have a synthetic plastic core 1 (Fig. 1) which may be a material lighter than that of the tube 2. On the ends are plates 3 of synthetic plastic material. Each outer tube may form a covering for an inflated inner tube constricted at intervals. The ends of a tub may be sealed by a coating of cement, glue or the like or by by fusing the material thereof.
