Abstract
<PICT:1028395/C6-C7/1> A titanium anode plating basket 10 has a titanium rod, bar or like member 13 electrically connected to and preferably integral with the suspension hook 14 and extending within the basket so as to be surrounded by plating metal e.g. nickel pellets. The member 13 is preferably secured to the basket base 11. The basket may be of elliptical, rectangular, square or circular cross-sectional shape. Two or more rods, bars or like members may be symmetrically or regularly arranged along the vertical or major basket axis (with elliptical cross-sectional shape) and connected to one or more suspension hooks. The basket wall may be of mesh, perforated and/or partly non-perforated.
