Abstract

Polyethylene crude scale waxes are purified by liquifying by heating to 100 DEG to 300 DEG C. in a closed vessel, not subject to pressure but having a protective gas atmosphere, and then separating the liquid by separately discharging the portion containing the impurities and the portion containing the pure polyethylene scale wax.
