Abstract

A herbicidal composition comprises a mixture of an alkyl ester of b -naphthoxyacetic acid (in which the alkyl group contains 1-3 C) and at least one salt or ester of a substituted phenoxyalkanoic acid substituted in the phenyl group by chlorine or chlorine and a methyl group e.g. MCPA, 24, D, 2, 45, T or CMPP. Salts may be alkali metal or diethylamine salts. Butyl glycol esters of the phenoxy alkanoic acid are specified and methyl esters of the naphthoxyacetic acid. Specified forms are dusts, granules and aqueous suspensions containing if desired non-ionic or anionic surface active agents.
