Abstract

1,023,397. Combine-harvesters. R. CLAAS. Jan. 29, 1965 [Jan. 31, 1964], No. 4060/65. Heading A1F. In a combine-harvester wherein the harvester-body contains a straw-walker 25 and an assembly of screens 26 below the strawwalker the side-walls 21 of the body are reinforced internally by longitudinal-extending, inwardly projecting, channel-section ribs 27 disposed at a level between the straw-walker and screens. The ribs are of divergent U-shape with flattened outer flanged edges by which they are bolted or rivetted to the body.
