1,022,928. Filter press frames. DEUTSCHE GOLDUND SILBER-SCHEIDEANSTALT. Dec. 4, 1964 [Jan. 18, 1964], No. 49453/64. Heading B1D. In a hollow frame, used to separate filter plates in a filter press, the lower frame member 2 and side members 3, 4 are bevelled at 5, 6, 7 and the inner edges of members 3, 4 converge upwardly. This construction facilitates the filter cake falling out of the frames when the press is opened. The frame may be made of wood, with bevelled surfaces 5, 6, 7 coated by metal or plastics.
