Abstract

A composition for reducing the cholesterol content in blood comprises pentaeryturitol nicotinate and an inert solid diluent or carrier. The carrier preferably comprises a mixture of corn starch, calcium stearate and talcum with or without inesoinositol. The composition is preferably used in the form of tablets.
