Abstract

1,019,944. Automatic frequency control. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. May 30, 1962 [June 2, 1961; Sept. 15, 1961], Nos. 20083/61 and 33265/61. Heading H3A. The Specification discloses a signal generator arrangement which is the same as that disclosed in Specification 1,019,943 except that the manual means for approximately setting the backward wave oscillator frequency is replaced by an arrangement including a sweep voltage generator which during initial operation provides a voltage which sweeps the oscillator frequency into range in which it can be controlled by the A.F.C. system.
