Abstract
The invention relates to formazyl compounds of the formula <FORM:1019127/C4-C5/1> in which R is an aryl radical. The compounds may be prepared by treating 1,5-diphenyl-carbazone salts in the enol form with diazonium salts in neutral solution with cooling. Examples are given of the preparation of compounds in which R in the formula is o-chlorophenyl, o-nitrophenyl and p-nitrophenyl.
