Abstract

1,018,696. Plaquetts. WILHELM ROPKE, and A. HUECK. Aug. 4, 1964 [July 20, 1963], No. 30533/64. Heading B8F. A plaquett 1 of synthetic plastics material, preferably transparent, has a reflecting layer 2 and is preferably concave on its rear face to which a layer 4 of foamed plastics material such as cold-foamed polyurethane is bonded. Fixing means, such as a member 6 and threaded studs, is at least partly embedded in the layer 4. The edge of the plaquett is preferably enveloped by the material 4 forming a seal 8 at its rear. Alternative fixing means such as threaded sleeves may be used.
