Abstract
The invention comprises compounds of the general formula <FORM:1016656/C2/1> in which RR1N is a saturated monocyclic heterocyclic residue of 4-9 C linked to the purine ring through the N-atom or R is benzyl, furfuryl, or C1- 4 alkyl and R1 is C1- 4 alkyl or hydrogen and the preparation thereof by reacting a compound of the formula <FORM:1016656/C2/2> with thiourea or with CS2 under alkaline conditions. Compounds II are prepared by reduction of the corresponding 2,4,6 - triamino - 5 - nitrosopyrimidines, in turn prepared from 4,6-diamino-2-methylthio-5-nitrosopyrimidine and RR1NH.
