Abstract

A method of manufacturing cotton-wool fleece comprises needling a cotton-wool fleece formed subsequent to combing, folding the fleece to the desired width about at least one fold edge parallel to the direction of feed of the fleece, and thereafter folding the fleece in successive transverse folds and laying the same zigzag-wise for packing purposes.
