Abstract
1,014,497. Photographic developing apparatus. HERMANN WOLF G.m.b.H. Oct. 9, 1962 [Oct. 14, 1961], No. 38119/62. Heading G2A. A developing tank of the kind in which the liquid can be drained into a bag-like container attached to an opening in the bottom of the tank is characterised in that the tank bottom has formed thereon a number of guiding ribs, with a groove running transversely of the ribs to guide the liquid to the said opening. In the form shown, the plastic tank 1 has an opening 2 with a connection 3 leading to a bag (not shown). On the bottom of the tank are a number of parallel ribs 4, 4<SP>1</SP>, which guide the photographic papers and keep them out of contact with the tank. A groove 5 runs transversely of the ribs, so that the developer liquid can run off freely into the opening 2 unimpeded by the ribs. To prevent the front edge of the paper from sliding off the ribs into the groove, the latter is bridged over between the grooves by bridge pieces 6, 7, 7<SP>1</SP>, the piece 6 covering the opening 2. In the alternative embodiment of Fig. 3 (not shown), the groove is V-shaped, which avoids the necessity for the bridge pieces.
