Abstract
The invention comprises a process for the recovery of plasminogen from animal blood serum or animal blood plasma, wherein the serum or the plasma is diluted 5 to 8 times, preferably 5 to 6 times, its volume with water, and is adjusted to pH value of 5 to 6, preferably 5.25, whereafter the resulting euglobulin precipitate is worked up to obtain plasminogen.
