Abstract
1,011,174. Casting processes. UNION CARBIDE CORPORATION. Nov. 19, 1963, No. 45554/63. Heading B3F. A mould has on its casting surface cobalt aluminate as a nucleation catalyst. The cobalt aluminate may be included in the mould mix, applied to the surface of the pattern, or sprayed on to the mould surface, e.g. in an aqueous wash with bentonite.
