In a castor or wheel arrangement for rendering furniture such as cabinets mobile, two half axles A, E each comprising an axle beam with an arm perpendicular thereto carrying on an axis higher than the axis of the beam a stub axle pin I for mounting a wheel B are adjustably attached to one another by bolts H passing through holes or slots in the beams, the arrangement being such that when the half axles have been adjusted to embrace the cabinet G the weight of the cabinet causes the beams to distort and the perpendicular arms to grip the cabinet more tightly.
