Abstract

100,805. Dlugosz, I. Feb. 9, 1916. Hand sieves. - Consists in a hand sieve for flour comprising a bowl-shaped sieve 10, the rim 11 carrying a resiliently-mounted hoop 16 which is struck to agitate the sieve and which contacts with pins 14 projecting radially from the rim 11 if the blow is sufficiently violent. A ring 12, by which the sieve can be held, is attached to the rim 11. The hoop 16 is secured to helical springs 15 surrounding the pins 14.
