Abstract

1,007,563. Plastics containers. FRASER & GLASS Ltd. April 5, 1963 [April 11, 1962], No. 13939/62. Heading B8D. [Also in Divisions B4 and B5] A hollow moulded container, e.g. a jerrican or bottle crate, of thermoplastic material is formed with a hollow internal pillar 3 to provide rigidity, the pillar being either formed as a through channel, Fig. 3, or divided internally, Fig. 1. The container walls may be reinforced by moulded depressions combined with a pillar, Fig. 9. The container is formed by blow moulding or rotational casting (see Divisions B4 and B5). The pillar may be in the form of hollow projections extending towards one another from opposite walls of the container without meeting.
