Abstract

100,672. Lange, W. Feb. 22, 1916. Book-markers.-A clip for holding down the leaves of an open book has two tongues b to lie between leaves or under the covers of the book, and a member d to be pressed down upon the open leaves. The tongues b project from a channelled steel spring a, to which is pivoted the leafholding member c carrying the tongue d, which is V-shaped in cross-section to engage the middle of the book. The clip is held closed by the indented part c or by a spring.
