Abstract

A method of preparing articles from crystalline polyolefins comprises the step of working the polyolefin with a basic nitrogen-containing polycondensate in the absence of oxygen. The polycondensate is preferably one of those described in Specifications 950,852, 992,011 or 1,006,581. In examples the compositions are spun into fibres.
