Abstract

A motor for driving the wiper arm of an instrument utilising a self balancing bridge circuit has a centre tapped field coil supplied with a D.C. signal, the coil being mounted around a soft iron core 35 forming the motor framework. The motor 37 is a permanent magnet magnetized about a diametral axis, and is contained in a brass housing 38 filled with a silicone damping fluid. Specification 1,004,621 is referred to.
