Abstract
A viscous to semi-solid amorphous, rubberlike polypropylene of density 0.82 to 0.89, melt viscosity 10,000 to 1,000,000 and M.W. 3000 to 20,000, is heated at 280 DEG to 400 DEG C. for 1 to 150 minutes to give a product having a narrow distribution of molecular weight. The heating is preferably in the absence of oxygen or compounds liberating oxygen.
