Abstract

1,000,714. Convector heating casings. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. June 18, 1964 [June 26, 1963], No. 25447/63. Heading H5H. A column-type convector has external struts 5 extending from near the top of the casing to beyond the bottom to form supporting feet. The struts 5 are interconnected by cross-tie members 6, 6<SP>1</SP>, top and bottom. The casing comprises four identical sections such as 1d having flanges 8, 3 located in slots in the struts. The inner casing also comprises four sections such as 2d. An openwork guard 13 is provided inside the heater near the top, and a heating element and lamp is mounted on a mesh frame at the bottom.
