Abstract

An exercise apparatus comprises pedals arranged to be rotated by a user, a seat 10 arranged for the user to sit on while rotating the pedals, a lumbar support 24 arranged to support the lumbar region of the user's back while the user is on the seat, and a pair of shoulder supports 26 arranged to limit forward movement of the user's upper body while the user is on the seat. The apparatus helps to ensure that the user maintains a good posture during use of the apparatus, and thereby aims to avoid discomfort or injury of the user.
