Un aspect de l’invention concerne un procédé (100) de protection de composants électriques d’un réseau électrique de puissance d'un véhicule comportant les étapes de : Déterminer (101) une résistance interne en charge et en décharge d’une batterie de puissance ; Déterminer (102) une tension à vide de la batterie ;Déterminer (103) une tension minimale et maximale de composants électriques,Déterminer (104) un premier courant limite en charge et en décharge de la batterie en fonction desdites résistances et tensions déterminées ;Déterminer (105) une première puissance limite en charge et en décharge de ladite batterie en fonction desdits premiers courants limites en charge et en décharge, desdites tensions minimale et maximale et d’un deuxième courant ou d’une deuxième puissance limite en charge et en décharge, Limiter (106) la puissance en charge et en décharge de ladite batterie ladite première puissance limite déterminée.
