Description
The invention relates to an interface system allowing the integration of a VR headset (English acronym VR for "Virtual Reality") on different types of gas mask without causing any intrusive modifications, which could cause losses in operational efficiencies of these gas masks. Wearing a gas mask during an NRBC (Nuclear, Radiological, Biological and Chemical) risk or threat corresponding to a high level of danger for human life, potentially affecting the lives of civilian populations or actors of the security and defense such as civil security, firefighters, gendarmes, police or the military. Training or training allows security and defense actors to understand NRBC risks and threats in the context of training before being confronted with them in real conditions. The invention aims to provide a modifiable interface system adaptable to all types of gas mask, allowing the superposition of a VR headset in front of the field of vision and thus allowing in particular the professional training and training of said security actors and defense in a virtual mode.
As an example for the training of firefighters, the existing educational and training tools consist either of a fire box, a fire house or a maneuvering tower or disused buildings in which the whole is reproduced. phenomena that firefighters may be confronted with during a fire. Thus, firefighters can repeat technical gestures in order to train and improve their operational efficiency in conditions close to reality. Various disadvantages result from such an approach to training and training, in particular: difficulties in finding disused buildings, expensive platform, environmental impact (i.e. through the generation of solid, liquid, gaseous effluents and waste), complex technical implementation, safety of stakeholders. Similar issues exist for training and training for other security and defense actors in their specific contexts. In conclusion, current training is complicated because it is dangerous in certain cases, the types of risky interventions cannot be controlled and are therefore less practiced in training and also costly in materials specially designed for learning.
There is therefore a need to offer a training and training technique that is easier to implement, for example by reducing or even avoiding the aforementioned disadvantages.
It is an object of the invention to propose a training system for NRBC risks and threats which overcomes one or more of the disadvantages or limitations of existing training and training techniques.
- une interface adaptable et modifiable ;
- un masque à gaz réel détenue par les acteurs de sécurité et de défense comme la sécurité civile, les pompiers, les gendarmes, les policiers ou les militaires. ;
- un casque de réalité virtuelle ;According to one aspect, an interface system is proposed making it possible to create a training tool consisting of a gas mask for real nuclear, radiological, biological, chemical NRBC risks, associated with a virtual reality mask characterized in that the system includes:
- an adaptable and modifiable interface;
- a real gas mask held by security and defense actors such as civil security, firefighters, gendarmes, police officers or the military. ;
- a virtual reality headset;
The interface can be mounted on different types of real gas mask without generating any structural modification. It can accept different types of virtual reality headset.
The gas mask can keep all these technical characteristics, and keep its original use (e.g. use of a gas mask cartridge, wearing NRBC clothing, etc.).
The virtual reality headset can be used in its normal operation, with the use of these remote controls, or connected objects.
- Les entrainements généré grâce à cette interface correspondent à des exercices normalisés, permettant de qualifier/certifier les acteurs selon les normes NRBC en vigueur ;
- L’outil de formation issu de cette interface permet de mieux préparer les acteurs de sécurité et de défense pour affronter la réalité du ou des risques et menaces auxquels ils seront confrontés ;
- Le système ne nécessite pas de mettre en place des infrastructures d’entrainement complexes ;
- The interface system makes it possible to use the gas masks of each operational entity in order to maintain its constraints during training.
- The interface system is capable of using different types of VR headsets, in order to adapt to the tools already in place in the units.
- The training generated using this interface corresponds to standardized exercises, allowing actors to be qualified/certified according to current NRBC standards;
- The training tool resulting from this interface makes it possible to better prepare security and defense actors to face the reality of the risks and threats they will face;
- The system does not require setting up complex training infrastructures;
- The system can be used to train and train a security and defense actor or a group of security and defense actors; And
- The system is structurally light, compact and easy to install, making it particularly suitable for traveling/mobile training.

The invention will be understood from the following description, in which reference is made to the appended drawings.
The VR headset/NRBC (gas) mask interface system according to the invention comprises an interface 1 that is modifiable and adaptable to all types of gas mask. It is made of a rigid material and can be combined with a flexible material. A calculation of resistance and rigidity allows it to hold a VR headset on a NRBC mask without making any modifications to the gas mask. A hanging system 2 allows the integration of different types of VR devices, with locking and depth adjustment. The cartridge lock 3 secures the assembly to the different types of gas masks. Thanks to this equipment, real agent training issues can be replaced by training in virtual mode, while maintaining the operational constraints of the participants and their equipment.
Alternativement, des parties peuvent être constituée en matière rigide pour intégrer les éléments d’accroche du casque VR et/ou des systèmes déplacement des verrouillages cartouches 3.Generally, the interface is made up of a mixture of chloro-butyl and silicone, with different levels of densities allowing interface 1 to be flexible, and easily adjustable to a large number of NRBC masks. Alternatively, parts can be made of rigid material to integrate the attachment elements of the VR headset and/or the cartridge locking movement systems 3.
It should be noted that interface 1 can also be made of resin (e.g.: ABS type, polyamide plastic, etc.) or any other design process offering the same qualities of resistance, rigidity, and flexibility defined during the calculations. forces exerted by the weight of the VR headset, as well as head movements during training according to the invention.
It is understood that the user of the VR headset / NRBC mask interface can also be equipped with full NRBC clothing (not shown in the drawings) in order to best simulate an intervention context for NRBC risks and threats. Once the VR headset positioned in front of the user's field of vision and the complete NRBC outfit closed, during training and training sessions, if a situation requires stopping the exercise, the attachment system 2 after being unlocked, the operator will be able to switch the VR device to the high position in order to regain the real field of vision without having to completely remove the NRBC outfit.
