Abstract

[Title: Sports game comprising a ball, such as a soccer ball, tennis ball, puck ball or the like, provided with a system of attachment for such a sports game. The invention relates to a sports game (J) comprising a ball (1) connected through an elastic link (4) to a movable or fixed base (5). The invention also relates to a ball, of the soccer ball (1a), tennis ball (1b), foam ball (1c), puck or similar type, for sports games (J) comprising a hooking system (2) comprising, on the one hand, a hook end (3) capable of cooperating in a removable manner with an elastic link (4) making it possible to connect the ball (1) to a mobile or fixed base (5) by means of the elastic link (4) and, on the other hand, an attachment end (6) cooperating with the structure (7) of the ball (1). Description

Sports game comprising a ball and ball, such as a soccer ball, tennis ball, foam puck ball or similar, provided with a hooking system for such a sports game.

The present invention relates to a sports game comprising a ball, such as a soccer ball, tennis ball, foam ball, puck or the like, provided with a hooking system for such a sports game. The invention also relates to a ball, such as a soccer ball, tennis ball, foam ball, puck or the like for such a sporting game.

This invention belongs to the field of ball games or balls or pucks for one or more participants. These ball or puck games can be used for the sports training of players in any sport in which a ball, balloon or puck can be thrown and returned at varying distances and directions. The invention can also be implemented in a leisure setting such as a game for children.

STATE OF PRIOR ART

A ball game such as a Jokari ® includes a rubber ball connected to a base via an elastic link. Furthermore, there are tennis training games in the state of the art comprising a tennis ball connected to a base via an elastic cord. In particular, patent EP 1802378 describes a ball game, for example usable for training one or more tennis players, comprising a ball, a movable ballast, and an elastic link connecting said ball and the movable ballast, the ballast mobile that can be received by a fixed base.

These ball games are essentially racket games that require the ball to be connected to the elastic link.

According to the applicant, there is currently no solution offering a ball or balloon with a pre-integrated attachment system allowing the ball or balloon to be easily replaced.

According to the applicant, there is currently no solution offering a sports game set allowing inter-independence of each of the elements, ball or ball equipped with a hooking system, elastic link and base.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Taking into account the above, and to overcome the defects of existing sports games, an objective of the invention is to propose a system compatible with sporting or recreational practice, both for the practice of a ball game and a ball game or even a game of shuffleboard.

An additional objective is to provide a ball, such as a soccer ball, tennis ball, puck foam ball or the like, removably attached to a fixed or movable base by an elastic link, in which the replacement of this ball or of any one of the elements is easy.

Another objective is to provide a sporting game allowing inter-independence of each of the elements, in which the ball provided with a hooking system, an elastic link and a base can be rotated 360 degrees, limiting in particular that the elastic link does not twist while wrapping around itself, thereby affecting its length and/or its elasticity.

Another objective is to propose a sports game whose manufacturing is sufficiently simple to make said manufacturing compatible with large-scale production, the cost and complexity of said manufacturing being moderate.

To meet these objectives, a first aspect of the invention relates to a sports game comprising a ball connected through an elastic link to a movable or fixed base, the elastic link comprises at least one end, on the one hand, means for free rotation of said elastic link around its axis, such as a swivel, and, on the other hand, an additional hooking system, such as a clip, removably connected to a hooking system that the ball.

Advantageously, the elastic link also comprises at its opposite end, on the one hand, means for free rotation of said elastic link around its axis, such as a swivel, and, on the other hand, an additional attachment system, like a staple, removably connected to an additional hanging system fitted to the base.

A second aspect of the invention is a ball, such as a football ball, tennis ball, foam puck ball or the like, for such a sporting game comprising a hooking system comprising, on the one hand, an end of hook capable of cooperating with an elastic link making it possible to connect the ball to a movable or fixed base via the elastic link and, on the other hand, an attachment end cooperating with the structure of the ball, the end of the hook cooperating removably with the elastic link through an additional hooking system which the latter comprises and means for free rotation of said elastic link around its axis.

Advantageously, in the case of a ball, of the football ball and tennis ball type in particular, this ball comprises an internal wall and an external envelope surrounding the internal wall, the attachment end penetrating into the structure of the ball at through an orifice passing through the internal wall and/or the external envelope.

According to the invention, the attachment system is defined by a single strand or by a loop-shaped strand.

According to another particularity, the attachment end of the attachment system passes through a reinforcing means to the right of the orifice, for example a membrane or a composite fabric, in particular based on Kevlar®, the attachment end being capable of being glued and/or sewn and/or welded under the reinforcing means.

The reinforcing means is advantageously glued and/or sewn and/or welded to the internal side of the external envelope or to the internal side or external side of the internal wall of a bale.

According to another specificity of the invention, the attachment end is extended by a belt strip extending around the internal wall by surrounding it on its external side, under the external envelope.

In particular, when the ball is a foam ball, the attachment end of the attachment system cooperates with the structure of this foam ball by passing through at least one orifice which passes right through it.

DESCRIPTION OF EXAMPLES OF PRODUCTION

The invention relates to a ball 1, of the soccer ball 1a or tennis ball 1b type, foam ball 1c, puck or other, of a sports game J, as visible more particularly in Figures 1 and 6.

This ball 1 comprises a hooking system 2 comprising, on the one hand, a hooking end 3 capable of cooperating with an elastic link 4 to connect this ball 1 to a mobile or fixed base 5.

This attachment system 2 also includes an attachment end 6 cooperating with the structure 7 of the ball 1.

The hooking end 3 cooperates removably with the elastic link 4 through an additional hooking system 11, such as a clip, which the latter comprises at its end 13 and free rotation means 12 of said elastic link 4 around its axis.

The invention also relates to a sports game J comprising such a ball 1, of the soccer ball 1a, tennis ball 1b, foam ball 1c, puck or other type, connected through an elastic link 4 to a mobile base 5 or fixed. This elastic link 4 is removably connected to the ball 1, on the one hand, and to the base 5, on the other hand, via additional attachment systems 11, such as clips, equipping each of its ends 13, 14, the base 5 also comprising an additional hanging system 25.

Advantageously, this elastic link 4 is still connected to the ball 1 and to the base 5 by means of free rotation 12 of said elastic link 4 around its axis.

Substantially, these means of free rotation 12 of said elastic link 4 around its axis are defined by swivels interposing, preferentially, between said ends 13, 14 of the elastic link 4 and the additional attachment systems 11, in particular the clips. We can still consider, in fact, associating a swivel with the attachment system 2 of the ball and/or with the additional attachment system 25 of the base 5.

The following examples illustrate four embodiments of the invention.

From the first to the third embodiment, (Figures 1 to 10) the ball 1 comprises an internal wall 8 and an external envelope 9 surrounding the internal wall 8, the attachment end 6 penetrating into said structure 7 through a orifice 10 passing through the internal wall 8 and/or the external envelope 9.

According to the first embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 5, the ball 1, in the form of a football 1a, comprises an external envelope 9 comprising several pieces of leather, preferably of hexagonal shape, called panels P. These panels P are coated on their interior face with an internal wall 8 under which extends an inflatable rubber bladder, commonly called an air chamber.

The panels P of the external envelope 9 of the balloon 1a are sewn together. During manufacturing, the last step consists of sewing the last panel P in order to obtain balloon 1a.

According to the first embodiment, the orifice 10 is made by piercing both the outer casing 9 and the internal wall 8. In a non-limiting example, the orifice 10 is located at the diametrically opposite apex of the valve inflation of the inner tube.

The hanging system 2 can take different execution modes.

As visible in Figures 2 and 3, it can be in the form of a single strand 15 having two ends: a proximal end 15a defining the attachment end 6, located after assembly in the balloon 1a, inside of the outer envelope 10 and the internal wall 9, and a distal end 15b forming the hooking end 3 located, after mounting on the balloon 1a, outside the external envelope 10.

In this embodiment, to define the attachment end 6, the distal end 15b is folded in the form of a loop 16 and knotted on the single strand 15 allowing attachment to the elastic link 4.

Advantageously, in this application, the proximal end 15a, forming the attachment end 6 extending, after mounting on the balloon 1a, from the internal side 21 of the internal wall 8 passing through the orifice 10, also passes through a reinforcement means 20 to the right of this orifice 10.

This reinforcing means 20 can be in the form of a membrane or fabric of good mechanical strength to reinforce the ball 1, here the football 1a, to the right of the orifice 10 crossed by the end of fastener 6. In this case, this reinforcing means 20 can be a fabric or a composite membrane, in particular based on Kevlar ®.

Under this reinforcing means 20, the proximal end 15a of the single strand 15 is glued and/or sewn and/or welded. We can still imagine making a retaining knot 22 on this proximal end 15a, but which, under the effect of the air pressure contained in the air chamber of the football 1a can generate a boss on the surface of the external envelope 9.

Finally, this attachment end 6 defined by the proximal end 15a of the single strand 15 is advantageously covered with a protective membrane 23.

In this application to a football 1a, this protective membrane 23 covers, on the internal side 21 of the internal wall 8, the proximal end 15a by protecting the bladder or air chamber. It can be glued and/or sewn and/or welded using reinforcement 20.

The length of the single strand 15 can be between 10 and 20 centimeters.

Referring in particular to Figures 4 and 5, this hooking system 2 can also be in the form of a strand describing a loop 17, the top 18 of the loop forms the hooking end 3 located, after assembly, outside the ball 1a. This loop-shaped strand 17 comprises two loop ends 19 which are both located in the structure of the ball 1. More particularly, after mounting on a football 1a, they pass through the orifice 10 and extend through of the internal wall 8 and the external envelope 9 inside this balloon 1a.

Here again advantageously, in this application, these loop ends 19 also pass through a reinforcing means 20 to the right of this orifice 10, internal side 21 of the internal wall 8.

This reinforcing means 20 can be in the form of a membrane or fabric of good mechanical strength to reinforce the ball 1, here the football 1a to the right of the orifice 10 crossed by the attachment system 2 In this case, this reinforcing means 20 can be a fabric or a composite membrane based on Kevlar®.

The two loop ends 19 are preferably sewn and/or glued and/or welded under this reinforcing means 20. Just as previously, they can optionally be tied together by defining a retaining knot 22, but which can be at the origin a boss externally to the football 1a under the effect of the inflation pressure.

Finally, this attachment end 6 defined by the loop ends 19 is advantageously covered with the protective membrane 23 on the internal side 21 of the internal wall 8 by protecting the bladder or air chamber. It can be glued and/or sewn and/or welded using reinforcement 20.

Moreover, this attachment end 6 defined by the proximal end 15a of the single strand 15 or the loop ends 19 of the loop-shaped strand 17, can be glued and/or sewn and/or welded by means of reinforcement 20.

The protective membrane is preferably, but not necessarily, made of a material similar to the material of the internal wall 8 of the balloon 1a.

The single strand 15 or the loop-shaped strand 17 are preferably designed in the form of a cord or a braid, in a material adapted to guarantee mechanical resistance properties, in particular in Kevlar ®.

In a non-limiting example, the length of the loop-shaped strand 17 can be between 1 and 20 centimeters.

Furthermore, the section of the single strand 15 or even of the loop-shaped strand 17 has a diameter of between 0.5 millimeters and 10 millimeters, preferably between 1 millimeter and 3 millimeters.

The panel P comprising the attachment system 2 is then sewn to the other panels P of the football 1a.

As visible in the , the elastic link 4 also comprises at each end 13, 14 an additional attachment system 11, advantageously in the form of a clip, made integral with a means of free rotation 12 in the form of a swivel fixed to these ends 13, 14 of the elastic link 4. This can thus be removably connected, on the one hand, to the attachment system 2 of the ball 1 and, on the other hand, to the additional attachment system 25 of the base 5.

One of the advantages of the grip system 2 is a better gain in ball striking efficiency, but also in safety for the player. Thanks to the distance of the clip 24 / swivel 12 assembly from the surface of the ball 1, the roughness present on the external envelope 9 of the latter is limited.

Note that in an alternative embodiment the free rotation means 12, in this case the swivels can equip the attachment system 2 of the ball 1 and/or the additional attachment system 25 of the base 5, the systems d additional hook 11 at the end 13 and/or 14 of the elastic link 4 coming to cooperate directly with this or these swivels 12.

These allow the inter-independence of the three elements, more precisely the independence between them of the ball 1, of the elastic link 4 and of the base 5. In fact, these swivels 12 allow a 360 degree rotation around the axis of the elastic link 4 of each element, which makes it possible to avoid, at least to limit, the elastic link 4 from twisting by rotation around itself by forming knots, having the consequence of affecting its elasticity, or even its length.

According to a second embodiment corresponding to Figures 6 to 9, the ball 1 is a tennis ball 1b which comprises an internal wall 8 formed by the assembly of two semi-rigid half-shells 26, usually made of elastomer. This internal wall 8 is covered with a felt covering forming the external envelope 9.

According to this second embodiment, only the external envelope 9 is pierced with an orifice 10 through which the attachment end 6 of the attachment system 2 passes. Advantageously, this attachment end 6 also passes through a reinforcement means 20 to the right of this orifice 10, internal side 27 of this external envelope 9.

Here again this reinforcing means 20 can be in the form of a membrane or a fabric of good mechanical strength to reinforce the tennis ball 1b to the right of the orifice 10. In this case, this reinforcing means 20 can be a fabric or a composite membrane, in particular based on Kevlar ®.

According to a first embodiment, the attachment end 6, defined by the proximal end 15a of a single strand 15 or by the loop ends 19 of a loop-shaped strand 17, is sewn and/welded and/or glued by means of reinforcement 20 and/or welded or glued to the external side 28 of the internal wall 8.

According to yet another embodiment, the attachment end 6 is extended by a belt strip 29 extending around the internal wall 8 by surrounding it on its external side 28, under the external envelope 9.

For example, if the attachment end 6 is defined by the proximal end 15a of a single strand 15, this proximal end 15a is extended by a belt strip 29 extending around the internal wall 8 in surrounding it on its external side 28, under the external envelope 9.

If the attachment end 6 is defined by the loop ends 19 of a loop-shaped strand 17, these loop ends 19 are extended by a belt strip 29 extending around the internal wall 8 in the surrounding on its external side 28, under the external envelope 9.

This belt strip 29 can be defined by a simple extension of said buckle ends 19 or of the proximal end 15a of a single strand 15.

In another variant, this belt strip 29 is designed by a strand, a cord or preferably by an independent braid, on this belt strip 29 being sewn and/or glued and/or welded the proximal end 15a of a single strand 15 or buckle tips 19.

The belt strip 29 can also be welded and/or glued to the external side 28 of the internal wall 8.

Just like the single strand 15 or a loop-shaped strand 17, this belt strip 29 is preferably designed in the form of a strand, a cord or a braid, in a material suitable to guarantee resistance properties mechanical, notably in Kevlar ®.

By way of non-limiting example, the diameter of the membrane or fabric defining the reinforcing means 20 can be between 0.5 millimeters and 50 millimeters, preferably between 10 millimeters and 30 millimeters.

In a design according to this second embodiment the outer envelope 9, usually in the form of felt, can be placed on the internal wall 8, once it is equipped with the attachment system 2. In this outer envelope 9 The orifice 10 is then pierced for the passage of the hooking end 3 of this hooking system 2 during this installation on said internal wall 8.

In short, the internal wall 8 is first designed by assembling the two half-shells 26, which are then equipped with the attachment system 2, before placing the felt on the two assembled half-shells.

According to a third embodiment again applied to a tennis ball 1b and visible in the , the attachment system 2 is substantially similar to the attachment system 2 described in the first embodiment applied to the football 1a with some distinctions however, in particular in the manufacturing process of this tennis ball 1b.

As a reminder, a tennis ball 1b includes an internal wall 8 formed by the assembly of two semi-rigid half-shells 26, usually made of elastomer. This internal wall 8 is covered with a felt covering forming the external envelope 9.

The attachment end 6, formed, depending on the case, of the proximal end 15a of a single strand 15 or the loop ends 19 of a loop-shaped strand 17, passes through an orifice 10 provided, with a on the one hand, in one of the half-shells 26 defining the internal wall 8 and, on the other hand, in a reinforcing means 20, in particular in the form of a membrane or a composite fabric, glued and/or welded on the side internal 21 of this half-shell 26.

Preferably at this proximal end 15a or on the loop ends 19 a retaining knot 22 is made.

This can be consolidated by a reinforcing ring 30 in solid fabric or a flat joint.

Advantageously again, this attachment end 6, formed, depending on the case, of the proximal end 15a of a single strand 15 or the loop ends 19 of a strand in the form of a loop 17 consolidated by a retaining knot 22, possibly also by a reinforcing ring or a flat seal, is coated, preferably in the shape of a cone, and glued to the reinforcing means 20 on the internal side 21 of this internal wall 8 by means of glue, in particular of the polyurethane type.

The second half-shell 26 is then glued to the half-shell 26 thus equipped with the hooking system 2, then the external envelope 9 in felt is fitted to cover the internal wall 8 by gluing. This external envelope 9 is pierced with an orifice 10 coinciding with that in said internal wall 8 for the passage of the hooking end 3 formed, depending on the case, by the distal end 15b of a single strand 15 or the top of the loop 18 d 'a strand 17 in the shape of a loop.

According to a fourth embodiment visible in the , ball 1 is in the form of a foam ball 1c. In this case, the attachment end 6 of the attachment system 2 cooperates with the structure 7 of this ball 1c passing through at least one orifice 10.

This one may be crossing or not. Thus, this orifice 10 can pass right through the ball 1c, as illustrated in Figures 11 to 13, while in the we can see an orifice 10 extending only over part of the diameter of this ball 1c.

In a first mode of execution corresponding to the , the attachment end 6, defined by the proximal end 15a of a single strand 15 passes through the orifice 10, passing through in this case. This proximal end 15a is also advantageously provided with a retaining knot 22 in its emerging part of the ball 1c on the opposite side 31 to that 32 where the hooking end 3 protrudes.

In a second mode of execution corresponding to the , the proximal end 15a of the single strand 15 passes right through the through orifice 10, this from the side 32 of the foam ball 1c towards the opposite side 31, this proximal end 15a then coming to cross in the opposite direction the orifice 10 before being tied onto the single strand 15 on side 31 of the foam ball 1c.

In a third mode of execution corresponding to the , the attachment system 2 comprises a loop-shaped strand 17. The loop ends 19 pass right through the through hole 10, this from the side 32 of the foam ball 1c. These loop ends 19 are then knotted together forming a retaining knot 22.

Preferably, by rotation of the loop-shaped strand 17, this retaining knot 22 is pushed back into the orifice 10, substantially in the center of the foam ball 1c.

Advantageously, the orifice 10 in the foam ball 1c is lined by a sheath 33 which passes through, depending on the case, the proximal end 15a of a single strand 15 at least in one direction or the loop ends 19 of a strand in the shape of a loop 17. This sheath 33 can be made of a flexible synthetic material. It has the advantage of protecting the foam ball 1c from friction with the single strand 15 or the loop-shaped strand 17.

Here again, a reinforcement means 20 can be crossed by the attachment end 6 on the side 32 of the ball 1c and/or on the opposite side 31 from which this attachment end 6 emerges. This reinforcement means 20 can present itself, just as in the previous cases, in the form of a membrane or a composite fabric. However, according to a preferred embodiment, it takes the form of a pellet 34 of semi-rigid synthetic material, comprising at least one hole 35 for the passage of the attachment end 6 of the attachment system 2. According to one advantageous embodiment illustrated in the , this pellet 33 comprises, in the manner of a button, two holes 35, 36, one hole 35 of which is crossed in one direction by the proximal end 15a of a single strand 15 and the other hole 36 is crossed in the opposite direction by this same proximal end 15a.

In the same way, each of these two holes 35, 36 is crossed by at least one of the loop ends 19 of a loop-shaped strand 17.

Advantageously, a protective membrane 23 can possibly cover the attachment end 6 on this opposite side 31 of the ball 1c. It is glued and/or welded and/or sewn, as the case may be, on the ball 1c or on the reinforcing means 20.

According to a fourth mode of execution, visible in the , the attachment end 6 of the attachment system 2 cooperates with the structure 7 by engaging in the orifice 10 extending only over part of the diameter of this ball 1c, substantially up to the center of this last.

Inside this orifice 10, this attachment end 6, formed, depending on the case, by the proximal end 15a of a single strand 15 or loop ends 19 of a loop-shaped strand 17, joins an anchoring piece 37 to be secured thereto, for example by a retaining knot 22.

This anchoring part 37 can take different embodiments. In the , it is illustrated, again, in the form of a pellet comprising at least one hole 35 through which the proximal end 15a of a single strand 15 or the loop ends 19 of a loop-shaped strand 17 pass to form the retaining knot 22 at the rear.

The orifice 10 in the foam ball 1c, although not passing through, may be lined by a sheath 33 which passes through, depending on the case, the proximal end 15a of a single strand 15 or the loop ends 19 of a loop-shaped strand 17.

In addition, a reinforcing means 20 can be crossed by the attachment end 6 of the side 32 of the ball 1c. This reinforcing means 20 can be in the form of a membrane or a composite fabric or a patch 34 of semi-rigid synthetic material, comprising at least one hole 35, or even two in the manner of a button.

Concretely, the set E forms:

- the anchoring part 37 to which the attachment end 6 of the attachment system is secured;

- the reinforcing means 20 and the sheath 33 crossed by this attachment end 6;

can be forcefully engaged in a perforation in the ball 1c to form the orifice 10, this by deformation of the foam composing this ball 1c.

We can still imagine designing this 1 c foam ball from two foam half-spheres glued one on top of the other after having interposed the aforementioned assembly.

In the third or fourth embodiment of the invention, the attachment system 2 is connected to the elastic link 4 in the same way as in the first and second embodiment.

Whatever the embodiment, in a non-limiting example, the diameter of the single strand 15 or the loop-shaped strand 17 can be between 0.5 millimeters and 10 millimeters, preferably between 0.5 millimeters and 4 millimeters.

This single strand 15 or this loop-shaped strand 17 can also take the form of a flat strip, for example a flat braid, with a width of between 0.5 millimeters and 10 millimeters, preferably between 1.5 millimeters and 4 millimeters.

As already indicated above, the present invention also aims a sports game set J which includes a ball 1 comprising a hooking system 2, an elastic link 4 and a mobile or fixed base 5.

Advantageously, this mobile or fixed base 5 can also be equipped with an additional attachment system 25, such as a clip. The elastic link 4 comprises at each of its ends 13, 14 means of free rotation 12, preferably in the form of a swivel, which makes it possible to connect this elastic link 4 in a removable manner both to the attachment system 2 of the ball 1, and to the additional attachment system 25 of the mobile or fixed base 5.

Thus, an advantage is that each element of the sports game set J is replaceable, particularly in the event of wear of one or more elements or possibly to evolve the sports game set J and adapt it to a different sporting practice.

In addition, as described above, the swivels 12 of the elastic link 4 allow the inter-independence of the three elements and the 360 degree rotation of each element, which makes it possible to obtain better elasticity of the elastic link 4 by limiting the knot formation.

A hanging system 2 as described above cannot only be used with a football or a tennis ball. In particular, the attachment system 2 is adaptable to a rugby ball, a handball, a volleyball or a basketball, for example.

Likewise, this attachment system 2 is also adaptable to a baseball, a golf ball, a table tennis ball, a foam ball or a field hockey ball. This hanging system 2 is also adaptable to an ice hockey puck.
