L’invention concerne un procédé de recherche de stations radio diffusées conformément à un standard CDR, comprenant des étapes de syntonisation (300) sur une fréquence, d’acquisition (301) d’un signal en bande de base diffusé sur ladite fréquence, de division (303) du spectre du signal acquis en N sous-bandes (LN/2, …, L1, R1, ..., RN/2) de 50 KHz, également réparties de part et d’autre de la fréquence syntonisée, de détermination (304) qu’un signal numérique est présent ou absent par détection d’une répartition particulière de la puissance du signal acquis dans les sous-bandes définies (LN/2, …, L1, R1, ..., RN/2), et lorsqu’il est déterminé qu’un signal numérique est présent, de détection (306) d’un code de synchronisation et décodage du signal numérique, et lorsqu’il est déterminé qu’un signal numérique est absent, syntonisation (300) sur une fréquence suivante.
