Répartiteur optique (1) comportant : - un coffret (2) comportant : - une paroi supérieure (20), - une paroi inférieure (21), et - une pluralité de séparateurs (22) s’étendant parallèlement les uns aux autres entre les parois supérieure et inférieure de manière à définir une pluralité de logements, et- dans au moins un dit logement, une pluralité de modules (3) comportant chacun un boîtier et une pluralité de raccords optiques (41) exposés à l’extérieur du boitier, lesdits modules étant directement superposés les uns aux autres et montés coulissants et de manière amovible dans ledit logement, dans une position dite « insérée »,le nombre total de dits raccords optiques par unité de hauteur de baie informatique (U) étant supérieur à 48.
