Abstract

Figure pour l’abrégé : Figure 3A method implemented by a battery safety monitoring data processing unit, comprising the steps of: acquiring a measurement made by an optical sensor (10) comprising a grating optical fiber Bragg grating (F0) arranged along a plurality of elementary cells (C) making up the battery, the optical sensor being able to carry out an optical interrogation of the Bragg grating for the determination of a measurement of a modification in the band bandwidth of the Bragg grating consecutive to a thermal or mechanical stress applied to the fiber;translating the measurement of said modification into temperature and pressure data at the level of each of said elementary cells; anddetermining an indicator of a safety level of the battery from said temperature and pressure data.
