La présente invention concerne un procédé suivi d’une plaie (PL) d’un patient mis en œuvre par des moyens informatiques et comprenant les étapes suivantes : - une acquisition (S1) d’une image (I) de ladite plaie (PL) à l’aide d’une caméra (10) ; - une classification (S8) de ladite image acquise (I) par apprentissage machine en fonction d’au moins une donnée d’image déterminée représentative d’une caractéristique de ladite plaie (PL) afin de segmenter ladite image (I) en une pluralité de classes ; - une caractérisation (S9) de ladite plaie comprenant une détermination d’un taux de distribution des caractéristiques de ladite plaie par un comptage d’un nombre de pixels pour chaque classe.The present invention relates to a method for monitoring a patient's wound (PL) implemented by computer means and comprising the following steps: - an acquisition (S1) of an image (I) of said wound (PL) using a camera (10); - a classification (S8) of said image acquired (I) by machine learning as a function of at least one determined image data representative of a characteristic of said wound (PL) in order to segment said image (I) into a plurality classes; - a characterization (S9) of said wound comprising a determination of a distribution rate of the characteristics of said wound by counting a number of pixels for each class.
